The math placement test is a multiple choice computer test designed to help you review your readiness in a math course on which you are best prepared and in which you can be successful. The test is comprised of 4 math skill levels: Algebra, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and Pre-Calculus. The tests are 45 minutes, except the Pre-Calculus, it is 1 hour; however please allow time to take two levels. No calculators allowed on the test. Students will answer a questionnaire to determine the starting math test level.
Please allow an additional 15 minutes for instruction.

Test Results
Test results is available immediately after the math placement test. Follow these steps to login to your Student Portal page or come to the Assessment office with a photo id to get a printed copy of test results
Retake Policy
Students may retake each of the math placement test levels once per semester.
Special ACCOMMODATIONS
If you have a verifiable disability and are in need of extended time, or other testing accommodations please contact the Disability Resources Department at (707) 527-4305. If leaving a message, please list dates that you are available to test and your student identification number. Check in for the test will begin 30 minutes prior to start time. Please bring picture identification with you to check in.
