The Process for Students with a Conditional EAP

Students with Conditional EAP will submit their EAP result along with their unofficial high school transcript to Student Success and Assessment Services. Assessment staff will review transcript against a list of courses approved by English/Math faculty. If the student did not take an approved course, they will be informed via email. The student has the option to ask for faculty review by completing a "Conditional EAP Review Form." The Department Chair will approve or deny the request; usually the turnaround time is in 2 business days. The results of the review are posted in the Student Portal, and the student is also informed by email.

Students who did not take an approved course and have completed the 11th grade can use their high school information to place into a transfer level course. Please review how is my placement calculated and update your high school records
